Big pot making at the Royal China Pottery in Jingdezhen, Jianxi, China

We had  a pretty successful time making pots in Jingdezhen, and as everything went well, we had some spare time whilst waiting for kilns to cool, so we went to the Royal China Pottery and Museum on the Eastern side of the city. The museum has a wonderful collection of pots covering the 5000 or more years of history of pottery making in the region.

Amongst many things there is a also a workshop making big pots and notably one hand decorating pots. both were pretty impressive.
